Every Monday, the Place des Arènes comes alive under the century-old plane trees to host one of the most beautiful markets in the southern Landes. A true Soustons institution, this traditional market attracts locals and visitors who come to enjoy the quality and conviviality of the place.

The Marine Lake of Port d’Albret
Located between Soustons-Plage and Vieux-Boucau, this lake stretches between the ocean, dunes, and pine forest. Completely artificial but perfectly integrated into the surrounding nature, it offers an ideal setting for walks, supervised swimming, and water activities.

Lake Soustons
Located in the heart of the town, this freshwater lake attracts with its calm and natural beauty. People come here to fish, paddle, bike, or simply enjoy a sunrise over the water . No motors allowed, which guarantees a peaceful atmosphere, conducive to relaxation as well as sports training (especially for rowing).

White Lake and Hardy Lake
Located south of Soustons, at the gates of Seignosse, these two hidden treasures are havens of biodiversity. Indeed, wildlife and flora thrive in absolute calm, far from the classic tourist paths.

Recharge at Pointe Des Vergnes
A true sanctuary, La Pointe des Vergnes is undoubtedly the most beautiful natural setting in Soustons. This public garden, located on the shore of the large lake, offers the most beautiful panoramas of the city, especially from its observatory, which reveals a magnificent view of the calm waters and wooded banks.
The park is home to no less than 18 species of trees such as alders, cork oaks, and bald cypresses, which create a scenery conducive to the flourishing of Soustons’ fauna. The place is ideal for a quiet walk, a peaceful fishing session or simply to take a break in tranquility, in the shade of the trees.

Enjoy the Charm of Soustons-Plage
Just a few minutes from the town center, Soustons-Plage transports you to a relaxed seaside atmosphere, between the marine lake and the Atlantic Ocean. This small neighborhood with a friendly atmosphere captivates with its dual identity. Indeed, on one side, there’s the marine lake beach, ideal for family swimming and safe water sports, and on the other, the ocean beach, bordered by dunes, which will delight wave riders.
The atmosphere is warm, almost village-like, where shop owners and restaurateurs know each other and welcome you with a smile.

Hiking or Cycling around Soustons
With its varied landscapes including forests, lakes, dunes, and ocean, Soustons is a true paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Indeed, the town is served by nearly 35 km of paved cycling paths, away from the roads, which allow easy access to the beaches and neighboring resorts. These routes are part of the famous Velodyssée, which runs along the Landes coast for over 150 km.

A beautiful 25 km loop allows you to discover by bike the villages of Soustons, Azur, Messanges and Vieux-Boucau. Those who love thrills and nature will be delighted: 20 km of marked trails in the forest and around the lake offer an excellent playground for mountain biking.
Walking Routes
Hikers are not left out: the GR8, the coastal path of the Way of Saint James, crosses the region revealing a mosaic of Landes landscapes, between wild beaches, dunes, and forests. A breath of fresh air guaranteed with every step or pedal stroke.
Swing at the Pinsolle Golf Course
For all those who love golf or those who wish to try it during their vacation, the Pinsolle golf course is a pleasant surprise. Located in a peaceful setting among pine trees, pond, and ocean, this 9-hole course extends around the Pinsolle pond, close to the marine lake.
The perfectly maintained greens provide an ideal environment to work on your swing or simply discover the joys of golf. Its uniqueness? A practice range on the water, both fun and technical, which will delight both the curious and the passionate.
